Minion Mania Review Game
We just finished our Primary Program and the kids did amazingly! So I wanted to do something special for them. So I created a game called Minion Mania. My amazing husband did me a huge favor and dressed up like Gru and had the accent and everything. It was HIIILARIOUS. The kids just about died!!!!
Things Needed
-25 Pics of Different Adorable Minions (Got off of the internet) Ideas Below
-10 Pics of Gru or the Purple Minion (Got off the Internet)
Optional
-Minion Stickers (enough for all the primary kids)
-Gru Impersonator
- Some Cheap Party Minion Party Favors
- Twinkies (1 per child)
I dressed as "Head Minion" I wore a yellow shirt, made a little sign to hang around my neck, jean skirt and got some cheap aviator goggles to wear around my neck. I handed out Minion Stickers to each child and told them to raise their right hand and repeat after me "I will be the best minion EVER" They all giggled and were so into it.
How to play the game:
This is a boys against girls game. Have all the pics face down on a board.
Have 1 girl and 1 boy come up. You can use the songs for Primary Program or any song for that matter. Read a line and have them finish the sentence or sing the rest of the line. Whoever answers correctly first gets to pick from the board.
Select a card, if they get a minion- thats a point. From there they can either choose to keep that point or pick 1 more card. If the second card is a minion- thats another point. But if they pick Gru- they lose the point and it goes to the other team. If they pick a Gru for the 1st card- no point and you select the next 2 kids. So there is a possible total of 2 points per round. Every other round you can sing the songs you are reviewing.
As a treat I drew little minion faces on all the twinkies. The kids loved having these to take home and who doesnt LOVE Twinkies! I've attached some pics from that day.
